MY KRAZY LIFE, a hard-hitting collection of songs, features California rapper YG breaking down the intricacies of SoCal living, including the RIAA platinum million-selling single “My N***a” featuring Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan and strip club anthem, “Left, Right” featuring DJ Mustard.  The album was executive produced by Jeezy, and produced by Grammy®-nominated producer DJ Mustard, who has helmed several of YG’s biggest hits. When asked about the inspiration for MY KRAZY LIFE, YG replied, “It’s the world. My music is L.A.”

MY KRAZY LIFE is a coming-of-age musical compilation of past life experiences that have greatly influenced YG’s music.  He chose to release the album on March 18th, the day before his five year anniversary of being jailed for flocking, to represent his journey and growth as an artist since then.  MY KRAZY LIFE is a collaboration between Pu$haz Ink and Jeezy’s Atlanta-based CTE label.  The relationship came to fruition after Jeezy came to Los Angeles and witnessed the movement that YG and DJ Mustard had created with their new West Coast rap sound.  Since then, Jeezy has taken YG under his wing, establishing a mentorship that played a dynamic role in influencing the direction of the album.

As he completed work on MY KRAZY LIFEYG was not looking back. The now platinum recording artist recounts on his journey thus far, “I’m blessed, shout out to all my fans who copped the record and helped get it to platinum! We got many more to come!”
