'I can't let my fans down besides I'm passionate about this s--t!!" he wrote on Instagram.

2 Chainz has clearly learned some lessons from Dave Grohl. Just like the Foo Fighters leader, the "Door Swangin'" rapper is not about to let a bum leg stop him from touring. While Chainz managed to keep it a secret that he broke his leg -- and had surgery on it -- nearly two weeks ago, on Wednesday night (Aug. 9) the MC kicked off his tour in Tucson, Arizona at the Rialto Theatre from a custom pink wheelchair, determined to bring it to his fans despite his medical set-back.

The rapper explained the whole scenario in a lengthy Instagram post accompanied by a shot of him being wheeled out onto the stage by a provocatively dressed nurse in a chair with "Trap" scrawled across the back. "So I broke my leg 11 days ago , and had surgery 10 days ago .. when I woke up from sedation the doctor told me " well looks like your gonna have to cancel your tour " so I told him maybe it means God wants me to use my mind and be creative!" he wrote.

"So after all the morphine and pains meds wore off I called management and said somebody find me a " pink wheelchair " I can't let my fans down besides I'm passionate about this shit !! Tucson, Arizona thank you for supporting me and rocking with the campaign!!"

The Pretty Girls Like Trap Music tour continues on Friday night (Aug. 11) with a show in Anaheim, California. The outing is currently scheduled to run through a Sept. 30 gig in Columbia, South Carolina and a spokesperson tells Billboard the rapper is expected to perform all the scheduled gigs on the tour despite his injury.
