Today, Mass Appeal gives us the last and final episode of Pusha T’s, ‘My Name Is My Name’ Documentary Series. In part 4, we get to see Pusha speak on his upcoming album, and what impact it may have on hip hop.
“I really think this record is going to cement me in a space of rap greats,” states Pusha. He follows up with his opinion on Lil Wayne being a quality rapper, if not now, at one point in his career. Noting that it took Weezy and Jay Z 10 years before they mastered the entire mix of what they had to offer, a point he now feels he’s reached. “I’ve rapped great for a long time, I feel like people are catching up now.”
